Photos: Doctors Separate Conjoined Twins In Abuja A great feat has been achieved by doctors at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital Gwagwalada after separating conjoined twins. A team of Nigerian doctors has successfully separated a set of conjoined twins at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital Gwagwalada. The doctors, led by  Dr Nuhu Kwajafa  of the Global Peace Initiatives, confirmed the success of the operation that took them several hours on Tuesday in a post on his Instagram account @nuhukwaj. “We wish to express our profound gratitude, as we say a massive thank you to Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, for his kind hearted and extremely generous gesture to the successfully separated twins and their family…God bless you, Sir,” Kwajafa posted. The spokesman to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Hassan Turaki, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday that Dogara was moved by the plight of the parents to settle the medical bill. LAUTECH Reduces High School Fees, Announces New Resumption Date After several backlashes from students, parents and other stakeholders, the management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, on Friday finally reviewed downward the increase in students’ fees it announced earlier. The institution had through a statement announced that indigenes of Oyo and Osun states were to pay N200,000 while non-indigenes will pay N250,000 from the 2018/19 session.
