I’m not interested’ – Sunday Igboho rejects becoming head of Amotekun Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has said attempts to make him head of Operation Amotekun, a South-West Security Network, are “embarrassing”. Igboho stated this during an Instagram Live Chat with media mogul, Dele Momodu, on Tuesday. He had asked herdsmen in Ibarapa Local Government Area of Oyo State to leave within seven days, blaming the leadership of the Fulani for being behind the rising insecurity in the state. At the expiration of his ultimatum, Igboho and his supporters reportedly stormed the Fulani settlement to eject those he described as “killer herdsmen”. Then there were reports that Igboho had been asked to become the head of the South-West security outfit. Tiubu Gave Me ₦2 Million To Fuel My Car — Sunday Igboho Sunday Igboho has opened up that he collected N2million from Bola Tinubu to fuel his car when he visited him. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress gave Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho N2m to fuel his car. This was the revelation made by Igboho during an Instagram Live Chat with media mogul, Dele Momodu, on Tuesday. According to him, he met Tinubu during the build-up to the Ondo State governorship election, which involved a former Governor of the state, Olusegun Mimiko. Igboho claimed that another former Oyo State governor, Rasheed Ladoja, told him that Tinubu wanted to see him at his Bourdillon residence in Lagos. He then travelled to meet with Tinubu, who persuaded him not to support the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the election, because the party impeached Ladoja as governor in 2006.
