THEY CUT OFF HIS HEAD, HE CARRIED IT AND STARTED PREACHING. This is Saint Denis of Paris. He was a 3rd century Christian. The Bishop of Paris. In the days of persecution, they decapitated his head, he carried it in his hands and walked 6 miles preaching and telling people to repent of their sins and give their lives to christ. He preached repentance with his head in his hands. After about 6 miles, he slumped and went to be with the Lord. Today, we have Christians who are not moved by the multitude of souls trooping to hell. We have Christians who are not ready to lay anything down for God. We have Christians who are only concerned about what to eat, what to drive and fly. Pastors whose God is their stomach. Christians who go to church every Sunday to show their latest style of dress, new hairstyle and shoe, with no soul to present to God. Today, we have people who have turned the church of God to business. When they get attendance report every Sunday, it is money, financial report they

‘If Sowore Is Charged, Buhari Will Be My First Witness In Court’ – Falana Says Femi Falana, a senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN), says the government will be making a mistake if it files charges against Omoyele Sowore. Sowore, who is the convener of #RevolutionNow movement, has been detained by the Department of State Services (DSS) since Saturday. The DSS had accused him of threatening public peace and safety with his planned nationwide protest. But speaking at an event organised by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) on Tuesday, the senior lawyer who though did not mention  President Muhammadu  Buhari’s name directly, said Sowore had briefed him from detention that in the case he would be charged, his first witness would be someone in government who in 2011 also called for a revolution. Then a presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Buhari had called for a revolution in Nigeria – although through an electoral process. Sowore

#RevolutionNow: Don’t Celebrate Yet, Organisers Tell Presidency

#RevolutionNow: Don’t Celebrate Yet, Organisers Tell Presidency The African Action Congress and the Take It Back Movement, co-conveners of the #RevolutionNow protest, have warned the Presidency not to celebrate yet after it violently dispersed peaceful protesters across the country on August 5, 2019. Presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, thanked Nigerians for not turning out to the protest after heavy police and military presence at designated venues nationwide. Responding to the claims that Nigerians shunned the mass action, Bayo Aderigbe, speaking on behalf of the AAC/TIB European Front on Tuesday said, “Contrary to the asinine commentary made by Presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, that RevolutionNow has failed, we from AAC/TIB European Front, made bold to assert that Nigerians are just ‘testing microphone’ and the real work of RevolutionNow has not started at all.” Aderigbe wondered if the Buhari regime felt that arresting activists will distract Nigerians from the

Justice Chuka Obiozor made the order following an ex-parte application by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). This is coming as the Court of Appeal in Lagos yesterday ordered the Lagos State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Ikeja to resume hearing on two petitions challenging Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s victory at the March 9 governorship election. He ordered the accounts’ “suspension” pending conclusion of investigation and possible prosecution of Adewale Adesanya, the Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Chief of Staff to former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode. The accounts are domiciled in First City Monument Bank (numbered 5617984012), Access Bank (0060949275) and Zenith Bank (1011691254). In a su

The revolutionary protest which was practically obscure for more than 3 weeks has now hit mega-popularity 48 hours before the protest. I have just finished watching one of Sowore’s videos done some days back and it is interesting he FULLY knows he will be picked up. I have also read from a member of the "GodPunishSowore&
