 BREAKING: Two Reportedly Arrested During EndSARS Memorial   At least two persons have been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force this morning during the EndSARS memorial that is currently being observed all over the country today to remember the ugly incident that occurred on the 20th of October 2020. According to BBC, one of the persons arrested claimed to be a journalist but probably didn’t have an ID card with him while the other individual could be seen in a white outfit with a placard that depicted his intentions to start a protest. The duo was forced into the Black Maria van. Recall that the police had warned Nigerians against staging a street in commemoration of the ugly incident. In a bid to make sure this doesn’t happen, lots of police fans and able-bodied officers are currently stationed at Lekki Tollgate. DSS Flies Veteran Actor Chiwetalu Agu To Abuja, Bars Family Visitation  The Department of State Services has flown veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu, to Abuja as part of investigations for promoting Biafra and allegedly inciting members of the public. Oriental Times reports that Agu was first arrested by the Nigerian Army on October 7, 2021, around Upper Iweka in Onitsha, Anambra State, for donning a Biafra outfit while distributing bread and other items to the poor. The army had accused him of soliciting support for the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra which has been accused of several acts of terrorism. He was subsequently handed over to the DSS for investigation and prosecution. Speaking to Punch, a relative of the Nollywood actor revealed that they had been denied access to him. The relative, who spoke on the condition of anonymity said Agu was first moved from Anambra to Enugu and then to Abuja. 12.5Kg of Cooking Gas May Rise To N10, 000 In December — Marketers Warn  Marketers of Liquefied Petroleum Gas popularly known as cooking gas have warned that the price of cooking gas may increase to N10,000 by December 2021. With the 12.5kg currently selling for between N7,500 and N8,000, marketers are worried that supply shortage may see the price escalate to N10,000 in a few months. While speaking at a Pan-African forum, Platforms Africa on Saturday, October 9, LPG marketers said many Nigerians are back using firewood, sawdust, charcoal and other unrefined energy sources for cooking even though prices of those materials are also on the rise. The Executive Secretary of the National Association of LPG Marketers, Mr Bassey Essien, urged the government to review the recently introduced import charges and Value Added Tax. He said if the advice is not heeded “the price of cooking gas may as well reach N10,000 for a 12.5kg cylinder.” However, he said marketers are discussing with government

BREAKING NEWS: Nigerian Army Releases Chiwetalu Agu  Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu, has been released from Army custody a day after he was arrested for putting on an outfit with semblance to the Biafran flag. This was made known via a video posted by Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike, on his Instagram page on Friday, where Agu was filmed with two representatives from the Actors Guild of Nigeria. According to the video, Agu was released via the intervention of the AGN and according to one of the representatives, the actor is hale and hearty. When asked for a comment, Agu said,  “Keep supporting Nollywood.
