Meet Chris Kamau, the blue band butter boy who is now a man,
honestly the young must grow if there is life.
How would I have known that the boy I was seeing his face every many Blue Band that I ate my bread and butter and each time I had my blue band on my cabin biscuits was from Kenya? Wow.
Chris is presently an Arts, Communications, Entertainment, and Media Practitioner with years of experience in radio, stage, and television. His special skills include character voices and continental accents.
Fully showcasing his versatility by performing songs from all music genres - country, pop, Broadway, R & B, rock, and gospel, Chris was able to duet with 25 of Kenya's top artistes during a special concept concert 'Love Jam'.
He is a founder member of Five Alive, East and Central Africa's premier Gospel/R&B Acapella singing group; the composer of 'Lets Make A Change' a song featured in the Un-Habitat pop video creating awareness about sustainable cities of the future; and one of the creators of 'Heart & Soul', TV soap opera jointly funded by 24 UN agencies. Chris was about 5 years when his face was featured on the tin of blue band butter in 1980 and today he is 46 and still counting. This is the BBB, Blue Band Boy.
