[Video] Kidnapped Victim on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Released After Paying N5Million Ransom Days after their kidnap on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, one of the kidnapped victims has regained his freedom from the kidnapper’s den. According to a viral video made by the victim’s sister, the kidnapped victim named Segun, was kidnapped at Ijebu-Isara in Ogun state on his way from Ibadan. Ebuka States Requirements For Big Brother Naija 7 Big Brother Naija Host,  Ebuka Obi-Uchendu  has disclosed some requirements for the next edition of Africa’s biggest reality show, BBNaija. According to a post he shared on his Facebook page, he revealed the requirements for season 7 below; 1) The participant must be a citizen of Nigeria and non-Nigerian citizens cannot participate in the show for now. 2) The age limit for one to participate must be between the age of 21 or reach that age before June 2022. 3) The participant must have a valid limit of identification (Passport). 4) He or she must be emotionally and mentally stable to handle the heat of the show for 90 days without any contact outside the world. 5) The participant must be educated with a minimum of o level qualification i.e WAEC, GCE, and NECO. Fire Razes Agbeni Market, Destroys Goods Worth Millions Tragedy struck at Agbeni Market on Monday as fire razed down some shops destroying goods worth several millions of naira. According to reports, the incident occurred at the Jamoje compound in Agbeni market in the early hours of the day. Traders in the market reportedly made several efforts to put out the fire all to no avail. Reports have it that about four shops were affected by the inferno, before help came. It was further learned that goods worth millions of naira were destroyed before the fire was extinguished. Meanwhile, the Head of Oyo State Fire Service, Mr. Mashood Adewuyi, who confirmed the incident said, “Yes it occurred on Monday morning”.

 Former Nigerian Interim Leader, Ernest Shonekan Dies at 85 Chief Ernest Shonekan,the interim head of government that succeeded the junta of General Ibrahim Babangida, has died. Chief Shonekan died at Evercare hospital, in the Lekki area of Lagos state, at the age of 85. Olubadan Of Ibadan Is Dead The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, has died. The monarch who was 93 years old died in the early hours of Sunday, January 2. The monarch who ruled over 11 local government areas that make up of Ibadan died less than one month after the death of Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi. Sources at the Popoyemoja palace of the Olubadan said that the Olubadan died at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. Adetunji, who was crowned the 41st Olubadan on March 4, 2017, was born on August 26, 1928. He was the first of 17 children of his parents. May his soul rest in peace, Amen
