2023 Presidency: Why Buhari/Osinbajo Group Changed Its Name To Endorse Tinubu Presidential Ambition

Ahead of the 2023 General Elections, a Pro-Buhari Group known as the "No Alternative to Buhari/Osinbajo 2019" as the endorsed a Former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Next President of Nigeria.

It will be recalled that Tinubu who is currently the only All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Aspirant from the South-West has been soliciting for support ahead of the Presidential Primaries, He has paid Consultation visits to Top Tranditional Rulers, APC Caucus at the National Assembly, Elder Statesmen among others. 

According to the Group's National Coordinator, Vincent G. Uba, His Members worked relentlessly for the Re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo in 2019. To express its Support for Tinubu, Uba changed the name of the Group to "No Alternative to Tinubu 2023".

The Group Coordinator described Tinubu as a visionary Leader who has all it takes to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023. He added that his Credentials give him an edge over other Aspirants.

Uba stated that they endorse Tinubu because he 'll not only sustain but also build on the Legacies of Buhari-led Administration if elected as the Next President of Nigeria.
